Do I Need Wedding Day Insurance?

Every bride dreams of their special wedding, a day of perfection where every detail of the ceremony and reception goes smoothly. While focusing on all the beautiful details, why would you even want to consider needing wedding day insurance? Maybe you haven’t even heard that it exists.

Wedding Day Insurance

Wedding Day insurance helps protect you from lost deposits and unforeseen events which interrupt or postpone your wedding, including any injuries that might happen.

Natural disasters such as snow storms, hurricanes or tornadoes can cause havoc, not only for the bride and groom, but also for the venue or guests travelling.

Early in 2013, we were catering an indoor wedding reception during a hurricane and a giant tree fell right next to the venue. Thank goodness no one was harmed.

With increasing numbers of severe storms in central North Carolina, taking extra precautions with wedding insurance can provide you with important piece of mind.

Venue Related Wedding Insurance

If you are using a well-known or long established church or reception venue, they will most likely carry insurance on your behalf covering guest accidents and varied medical issues.

Some venues will carry weather related postponements or cancellations, but not all, so you will want to check with the venue.
