Incredible Holiday Cookie Recipes

Chocolate Mint Oreo – These cookies are jam packed with chocolate and mint green chips, and Cool Mint Oreos. Rich and smooth with a cool mint twist, these yummy cookies are holiday perfection!

Yield: 3 1/2 dozen
Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups – all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon – baking soda
1/4 teaspoon – salt
3/4 cup – Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa
1 cup – unsalted, room temperature butter
1 cup – granulated sugar
1 cup – light brown sugar
2 – large eggs
2 teaspoons – vanilla extract
1 cup – semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups – mint green chips
1 cup – Cool Mint Oreo cookies, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa into a medium bowl and set aside. Cream butter and sugars together until smooth with a mixer, then add eggs one at a time, next add the vanilla extract and mix until blended. Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture and mix until the flour is fully blended. Now stir in chocolate and mint green chips, and chopped Cool Mint Oreos.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto your baking sheet at about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges, but have a soft center. Do not over-bake. Remove and let sit for 3-5 minutes. Next, move to a cooling rack and completely cool.

Red Velvet White Chocolate Chunk – Nothing screams the holidays like red velvet decadence! The combination of the red velvet and white chocolate in these babies are amazing and sing holiday joy. Everyone, including the kids, will love them!

Yield: 2 small dozen
Prep: 8 – 10 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 – box of Red Velvet Cake Mix
1 cup – all-purpose flour
2 – sticks of softened butter
1 – egg
2 cups – White Chocolate Chunks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, add butter and mix until soft and fluffy. Slowly add cake mix and flour. Once combined, add egg and mix completely. Add white chocolate chunks, and mix for a minute or so until well combined. Form dough into one inch balls, and place into the oven for 8-10 minutes.

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies – These soft batch chocolate chip cookies come complete with pockets of caramel and a touch of sea salt that gives these treats a yummy sweet and savory contrast. Be sure to make these for your next holiday event!

Yield: 3 dozen
Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
2 cups – all-purpose Gold Medal flour
2 teaspoons – cornstarch
1 teaspoon – baking soda
1/2 teaspoon – sea salt
3/4 cup – unsalted and room temperature butter
1 cup – brown sugar
1/4 cup – granulated sugar
1 – large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup – semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup – caramel chips
Sea salt for sprinkling on cookies

Directions:

First, preheat your oven to 350 F. Next, line your large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside for later. Take a large bowl, and whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and sea salt and set it aside as well. Now take a medium to large mixing bowl and cream together the butter and sugars until it is smooth and creamy. This should take about 3 minutes. Next, add the egg and vanilla extract and beat this mixture until combined. Now you should slowly mix in the dry ingredients until everything is combined.

Next, stir in both the chocolate and caramel chips. Grab your prepped baking sheet and place tablespoon sized balls of cookie dough on it at about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle each cookie dough ball with sea salt and bake cookies for about 10 minutes. The edges should be set and turn a slight golden brown color. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for two minutes. Then transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack and let them cool completely before serving.

Lace Cookies – These treats are both thin, crispy, and full of buttery goodness. You can eat them by themselves, or use them to make a cookie sandwich! All you have to do is take one lace cookie and spread some melted chocolate, marshmallow, or Nutella on them to make a treat that is out of the world delicious. You can also make these with dark, milk or white chocolate as well. These dainty little lace cookies pair well with hot chocolate, warm or cold milk, tea, or coffee.

You should totally make these lace cookies part of your Christmas tradition this year. These will also blow your friends and co-workers away with your baking skills!

Yield: 20 cookies
Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 8 – 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup – sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup – granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon – cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon – baking powder
1/2 cup – old-fashioned oats
1/3 cup – unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons – heavy cream
2 tablespoons – light corn syrup
1 teaspoon – vanilla extract
2 ounces – dark chocolate, melted
Pinch of salt

Directions:

First, get your oven preheated to 375 degrees F. Next, grab two baking sheets and either line them with Silpats or parchment paper and then set both of them aside. Now take one of your medium mixing bowls and combine the dry ingredients, including the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and oats and set it aside also. Take your mixer’s bowl and combine all of the butter, cream, corn syrup, and vanilla. You should mix with the beater blade until it’s smooth and then slowly add in the dry ingredients. Mix everything until the dry ingredients are fully combined.

Next, take your prepped baking sheets and drop about 3/4 of a teaspoon of cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. No more than twelve cookies should be placed on each baking sheet as the cookies will spread out in the oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes and remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 2 minutes. Then, carefully transfer cookies to a wire rack and cool completely.
